About the Journal
PSYCOUNIA: Indonesian Journal of Psychology and Counseling is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by [Nawasena Cakrawala]. The journal publishes original research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual studies that advance theory, research, and practice in psychology and counseling, particularly in the Indonesian and Southeast Asian context.
PSYCOUNIA aims to provide a scientific forum for academics, researchers, practitioners, counselors, and students to share empirical findings and innovative ideas that contribute to individual well-being, mental health, and the development of evidence-based psychological and counseling services.
Focus and Scope
The journal welcomes manuscripts in, but not limited to, the following areas: educational and school psychology; guidance and counseling (school, career, family, and community counseling); clinical psychology and mental health; developmental psychology; social psychology; industrial and organizational psychology; positive psychology and well-being; psychological assessment and measurement; Islamic and indigenous psychology; and multicultural counseling and counseling interventions.
Publication Frequency
PSYCOUNIA is published [twice a year, in June and December]. Articles are available online as soon as they are accepted and edited.
Peer Review Process
Every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editor, followed by a [double-blind] peer review by at least two reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Editorial decisions are based on originality, scientific rigor, methodological quality, and relevance to the journal's scope.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles are licensed under a [Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0)].
Publication Language
Manuscripts are accepted in [English and Indonesian].
